Improved performance, user friendliness, and more flexibility: Alliance Automotive Germany GmbH (AAGG) has invested in a new ERP system. In the future AAGG is going to use Microsoft’s cloud solution Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365). AAGG hopes that adopting the new solution will give the company a fully integrated ERP system that syncs transactions between Accounts and Merchandise Management. D365’s cloud architecture improve will the company’s performance and will provide more flexibility for the integration of new technological solutions. In addition, this system is creating the right conditions for reporting in accordance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX), a requirement for a listing on US stock exchanges.

Integrating industry-specific processes with gevis ERP | AX

In order to seamlessly integrate routine sales functions and processes, AAGG is also introducing gevis ERP | AX, a GWS solution. The company hopes to simplify the interface architecture and therefore make it easier to integrate additional soft-ware tools. A key objective of changing to the new system is seamless order tracking, right from commissioning through to handover of the article to the customer. And a new application for the disposition system is expected to produce better analyses and optimize product availability.

“As a solution partner, we offer more than just a high degree of sector expertise; our gevis ERP | AX system has been tailored to the needs of the automotive parts trade”, says Udo Lorenz, CEO of the GWS Group. The combination with D365, the cloud solution by innovation and technology driver Microsoft, creates a sound base that will always be at the cutting edge and able to meet AAGG’s global requirements. “We are delighted that this partnership is going to make an important contribution to AAGG’s growth strategy. At the same time, this collaboration is also a significant milestone in the internationalization of the GWS portfolio.”

Rolling out the new system throughout Germany is scheduled for 2021.
